American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career in an actor in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). She later played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and played a supporting role in the short-lived drama The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara in the debut season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was the character she played in NBC's This Is Us. She also voiced several characters from the animated series Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old at which point her mom and her moved to California [11] where they stayed for a year , before arriving in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue a career in acting.
